Darrel's Debut CD - "The Music Within"

"The Music Within" is Darrel's first studio album, featuring an hour of self-composed instrumental guitar pieces. Recording of the album was undertaken at a modern recording studio, and no expense was spared in utilising the latest technology to bring these songs to life. At home on an electric or acoustic guitar, Darrel's unique playing style has been captured perfectly on an album which all ages can enjoy and appreciate, as there is no age barrier to this easy listening music.

 

 

About The Music

"When I write songs, I try to make having a good melody the main focus, and then I let my guitar playing fit around that. A lot of people have told me you could put words to my songs. As I write, I usually have a particular theme or song title in mind, so that I can make the music fit to that. The styles on this album are quite varied, because the guitar can have so many different voices and be such a great sounding instrument in any style, and I can't make up my mind what I want to be! I sincerely hope that you enjoy listening to my music as much as I enjoyed writing and playing it. "
